Mumbai: The finest actor of this generation, Ranveer Singh has always captivated audiences with his performances on screen. While the actor recently embraced fatherhood, he is also working on his next project, Aditya Dhar’s directorial, whose announcement has kept audiences eagerly awaiting yet another compelling performance from him. In the first look that got leaked, Singh is seen sporting a turban for the first time and what we see if truly a glimpse of what looks like a killer performance already.
Currently, the actor is making waves across social media for his look, which has been leaked and netizens were quick to drawing comparisons to his iconic portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat.
In the leaked images from the sets, Ranveer is seen in what appears to be action sequence. Wearing a long kurta, untamed hair in his angry young man demeanour, he is seen fully drenched in his character, pulling off an intense walk while other men, who appear to be part of his “gang,” in a rural town setting. His intense new look for the film features a rugged beard, long hair, and bulging biceps, which fans have described as reminiscent of his Alauddin Khilji avatar.
Other reports also suggest that a majority are convinced that Ranveer looks more like Khilji than Animal’s RK and it is what we get pulled back to. For instance, one netizen claimed, “He was animal before Animal lol. He played Alauddin Khilji. Kuch bhi bol dete he log aaj kal,” whereas another fan pointed out, “I mean he had long hair for Khilji too…which released before Animal btw.” Now, the excitement to watch Ranveer in Dhurandar has reached an all-time high.
